Day 2: Amman – Madaba – Dead Sea – Shoubak After breakfast, we will head to Madaba to see the famous mosaics of the Holy Land inside St. George’s Church. Then we continue down the road to Amman Beach on the Dead Sea for a few hours of swimming and floating in the salty water before stopping at Shoubak, site of the Crusader castle of Montreal, where you will stay overnight with a Bedouin family.

Day 3: Shoubak – Wadi Gwier – Feynan

After breakfast, we depart for Wadi Gweir and drive by jeep through beautiful plains and mountains to Mansura, where a stream flows through the canyon. In spring, when the water level is high, it is possible to swim. Wadi Gweir boasts stunning views, subtropical oases, hanging gardens of ferns, palms and also beautiful dark green mountains, coloured by copper ores.  We will walk to the end of the wadi, where our team will pick you up in a  jeep and take you to stay the night with a Bedouin family nearby.

Day 4: Wadi Feynan – Wadi Araba – Little Petra After breakfast, we transfer to Wadi Araba for a few hours of hiking in the desert (or a jeep tour if you prefer). Afterwards, we’ll continue to Little Petra to vist Siq al Barid and camp in a Bedouin tent overnight.

Day 5: Petra After breakfast, we enter Petra via a little-known, picturesque wee canyon that brings us out near the Monastery. You will have all day to explore the archaeological site of Petra. In the evening, we’ll head to the Snake Monument, where we’ll stay the night with a Bedouin family.

Day 6: Petra – Wadi Musa A second day for exploring Petra at will. In the afternoon, we exit through the Siq and the main gate and check into a hotel in Wadi musa for the night.

Day 7: Wadi musa – Wadi Rum After breakfast, we drive to to Wadi Rum, where we take off on a 2-hour jeep tour in the desert to visit Lawrence Spring, Al Khazali Canyon, old Thaumudic inscriptions, red sand dunes, and a natural rock bridge. We overnight at a private Bedouin camp inside the protected area of Wadi Rum.

Day 8: Wadi Rum – Amman A second day dedicated to discovering the desert on foot with a 5-6 hour hike with a Bedouin  guide. In the afternoon we’ll head back to Amman.

Day 9: Amman Airport After breakfast, depending on your flight time, you will have some free time in Amman. We will take you to Amman airport in time to catch your flight.
