Day 1: Amman Airport – Amman

Our representative will meet you at the airport and assist you through the visa and customs processes before taking you to your hotel in Amman.

Day 2: Amman – Madaba – Mt. Nebo – Dead Sea – Kerak

After breakfast in the hotel, we will drive to Madaba to visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George which houses the famous 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land. We will then drive to Mt. Nebo, from where Moses looked out over the Holy Land. From the summit, the West Bank city of Jericho is usually visible, as is Jerusalem on a clear day. Here, our cycling tour starts with a long downhill to the lowest point on Earth, the Dead Sea. We will have some time here to swim in the salty waters before biking up to Kerak, where we will explore the maze of dimly-lit stone-vaulted rooms and corridors of the Crusader castle. We will have dinner and stay overnight here in a hotel.

Day 3: Karak – Dana Nature Reserve

After breakfast, we will do some sport cycling in Karak, then cycle via Tafila to Dana Nature Reserve with its vast array of rare plants, animals and habitats. We will have dinner and stay overnight in Dana.

Day 4: Dana Nature Reserve – Shoubak – Little Petra

After breakfast in our hotel, we will cycle past Dana Village and the 12th-century Shoubak Castle, which rises on its rock above a wild and rugged landscape dotted with fruit trees. We will continue until we reach Little Petra, a settlement of the Nabataeans that is even older than Petra, where we will stay in a camp after enjoying dinner and Bedouin music.

Day 5: Petra

After breakfast we will hike to the rock-carved Nabatean trading city of Petra by a picturesque back way that brings us out near the Monastery. We visit the city centre, The Royal Tombs, the Court, the Theatre, and the Street of Façades, ending at the famous Treasury. We go through the Siq to the town of Wadi Musa, where we will have dinner and stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 6: Petra – Wadi Rum

In the morning, we’ll take a bus to a place nearly for a couple of hours fun biking. The cycling part of the tour ends here, because we head next into the sandy desert of Wadi Rum. Here we will follow in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia in a six-hour 4×4 jeep tour through the pink and white desert sands. We will have dinner and stay in a camp in Wadi Rum.

Day 7: Wadi Rum – Amman Airport

After breakfast, we will transfer to Amman airport in time for you to catch your flight home.

Note: We can extend or shorten your tour upon your request.
