Day 1: Queen Alia Airport – Amman

A member of our team will meet you at Queen Alia International Airport and assist you through the customs and visa processes before taking you to your hotel in Amman.

Day 2: Amman – Jerash -Ajloun Castle – Amman

After breakfast we will head north for a tour of Jerash, the “Pompeii of the East”, one of the world’s largest and most well-preserved Roman towns outside Italy. The colonnaded streets, baths, theatres, plazas, and arches remain in exceptional condition and make this city a fascinating place to visit. We then continue to Ajloun to explore the ruins of the Crusader castle built by one of Saladin’s lieutenants, from where you get stunning panoramic views. Back in Amman, you will have the evening free to discover the many lively and colorful bazaars of Jordan’s capital city.

Day 3: Amman – Dead Sea – Madaba

After breakfast we will drive to the Dead Sea where we will spend a few hours floating in the healing mineral waters and take a recuperative mud treatment. Visitors to the Dead Sea have an unforgettable experience as the high density of the water makes sinking virtually impossible. Next, we will head to Mount Nebo. This is where Moses first caught sight of the Holy Land and led his people from Sinai. It is said that Moses also died and was buried here. Our next stop is Madaba, a lovely Christian town, where we will the famous 6th-centure mosaic map of the Holy Land housed in St George’s Greek Orthodox Church. We stay overnight in a hotel in Madaba.

Day 4: Madaba – King’s Highway – Shoubak Castle – Petra

We will drive south along the Kings’ Highway to the ancient city of Petra, visiting Shoubak Castle along the way. The King’s Highway was a major trade route of the Nebataean Empire and is the road Moses took to bring the Jews to the Holy Land. We will stop at Shobak Castle, the Crusader fortress of Montreal built by Baldwin of Jerusalem in 1115, which looks out over fruit trees from its hill. Arriving in Petra, we will check in to our hotel.

Day 5: Petra

You will have the whole day to explore Petra, one of the new seven wonders of the world, was the trading capital of the Nabataeans, the Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. and who carved their new capital out of the rose-red Sharah Mountains. For our first few hours, an English-speaking guide who will introduce us to the highlights, including the Treasury (Al Khazneh), the amphitheatre and the Royal Tombs. Afterwards, you can discover the site at your own pace: there are over 800 individual monuments, including various buildings, tombs, baths, temples and gateways. In the evening you will head back to your hotel in Petra.

Day 6: Petra – Wadi Rum – Amman

After breakfast at your hotel in Petra, we will take the scenic King’s Highway to Wadi Rum. There we enjoy a jeep safari through pink and white desert sands. In the early evening we will drive back to our hotel in Amman.

Day 7: Amman – Queen Alia International Airport

We will transfer you to Queen Alia International Airport in time for your flight check-in.

  • if you choose to stay in three stars hotel you will be staying in madaba in stead of the dead sea
  • in wadi rum we will be using old bedouin jeep cars from the local communities
  •  You walk several km in Petra and jerash  and the terrain is uneven. Please bear in mind good walking shoes and a backpack for beverage, camera etc.
  • visa fees to jordan  is not included in the package

Prices for Children

  • Children under 2 are free of charge  sharing adults bed .
  • Children aged from 2 to 5 pay 25% of the adult price sharing adults bed .
  • Children aged from 6 to 11 pay 50% of the adult price  sharing adults bed .
  • Children 12 and over pay the full adult price.

Payment Policy

Reservations should be made as far in advance as possible so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

The booking will be secured upon receiving a deposit of 25%, or, during the Christmas and New Year holidays, a deposit of 50%. This deposit is part of your final payment. Deposits can only be made by wire transfer or through Western Union.

Jordan  Entry Visas

To enter Jordan, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your scheduled departure date. Visas can be obtained in advance from the Jordanian Consulate in your country of origin, or upon arrival at a Jordanian airport for USD 60. Please check for any special conditions attaching to your nationality beforehand.

Tipping

It is customary in Jordan to express satisfaction and gratitude for good service by giving a tip. A tip is much appreciated by guides, drivers, cleaning staff, etc., but tipping is not obligatory and the amount given is up to the tipper’s discretion.
