[/tab] [tab]Malaqi Trail Wadi Mujib A genuinely remote and wild place, Wadi Mujib – the lowest nature reserve on earth – is a gorge that extends to the eastern shore of the Dead Sea 90 km (56 mi) south ofAmman. The landscape of harsh sandstone mountains, desert and plateaus is intersected by steep cliffs and gorges, with a lake at the bottom of the wadi where a dam has been built. The reserve contains over 300 species of plants, 10 species of carnivores, and numerous species of resident and migratory birds.
