Day 1: Amman
We will meet you at Queen Alia Airport and assist you through the visa process before taking you to your hotel in Amman.
Day 2: Amman – Madaba – Mt Nebo – Dead Sea – Shobak – Petra
On our way down to Petra from Amman, we’ll stop at some of Jordan’s other notable places. First is Madaba, the city of mosaics, where we will visit the 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land housed in the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. We will then drive up to Mount Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Holy Land. It is said that he also died and was buried here. On a clear day you can see across to Jericho and Jerusalem. We continue on to the Dead Sea, the lowest terrestrial spot on Earth, for an unforgettable swimming experience in the high-density water. After a few relaxing hours floating in the mineral-rich water and some lunch, we will go on to Petra for the night.
Day 3: Petra
After breakfast, we’ll enter Petra through the famous fissure known as the Siq and bear witness to the sophistication of the Nabateans. The tour gradually unfolds the mysteries of the rose-red city with its spectacular Treasury, Royal Tombs, burial chambers and High Place of Sacrifice. We return to the hotel for the night.
Day 4: Petra – Little Petra – Wadi Rum
In the morning, we’ll go out to picturesque Little Petra, the place where Nabateans used to entertain their guests, then continue south to the enchanting desert of Wadi Rum. We’ll explore the desert by jeep, visiting Nabataen inscriptions, Lawrence’s Cave, beautiful dunes and a rock bridge before watching the sunset and heading back to the camp for the night.
Day 5: Wadi Rum – Amman
We will begin our day with a 4-hour jeep tour via Nabataen inscriptions, Lawrence’s Cave and a rock bridge. After lunch in Wadi Rum, we head back to Amman.
Day 6: Amman Airport
We will take you from your hotel in Amman to the airport in time to catch your flight.
