Day 1: Arrive Amman Arrive at Amman airport. Meet and assist, then to your hotel.
Day 2: Amman / Madaba / Mt Nebo / Dead Sea: Full day tour to visit main sites in the capital Amman including the Citadel, Roman Theatre, Archaeological and Folklore Museums, as well as the modern area. Proceed to Madaba and visit its famous St. George Church, home to the oldest mosaic map of Palestine. Drive to Mt. Nebo for its spectacular view of the Holy Land and descend to the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth, after which we return to Amman.
Day 3: Amman / Petra (Drive): Drive to Petra to visit one of the most magnificent sites in the Middle East. After passing the main gate we ride on horseback for about 700 meters to the entrance of the Siq and walk along the Siq until the most astonishing monuments of Petra, the Treasury, suddenly appears. We wander among the tombs, temples, water cisterns, Roman Theater, street of Facades, Royal Tombs, the massive Courthouse, roman street, Triumphal Arch, ending at Qasr Al-Bint. Time flies at Petra and before we know, it will be time to return to our hotel.
Day 4: Petra / Wadi Rum / Amman: (Drive) Drive to Wadi Rum for an exhilarating jeep tour, then proceed back to Amman.
Day 5: Amman / Jerash / Bosra / Damascus: (Drive) Drive to visit Jerash, the Greco-Roman city, where we also cover the Triumphal Arch, the Hippodrome, the Temple of Zeus, the Forum, a mile long street of Columns, the Nymphaeum, the Temple of Artemis and the Viaduct Church. Proceed towards the border with Syria. Meet and assist and proceed to Bosra to visit its Roman amphitheater, which dated back to the 2nd century AD, together with an ancient Islamic minaret. Continue to our hotel.
Day 6: Damascus: Visit one of the world’s oldest cities where many civilizations, such as the Armenians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines and Arabs, have left their mark over the centuries. Some of the most popular sites to visit are The Omayyad Mosque, Al-Azem Palace, the Chapel of St. Ananias, St. Paul’s Window, the National Museum, Hamidiye Bazaar, Saladin Mausoleum and the legendary Straight Street of Damascus.
Day 7: Damascus / Maaloula / Palmyra (Drive): Drive to Maaloula, one of the most beautiful and picturesque villages in the region (60km from Damascus) and 1300 meters above sea level. It is said to be the first monastery in Christianity, unique in that the inhabitants still speak Aramaic (the language in which Christ preached and addressed his pupils). Later proceed to Palmyra.
Day 8: Palmyra: Palmyra was the capital of the Arab Emirate of Tadmor, which stretched to Egypt and the Bosphorus strait in the third century A.D. during the rule of its queen Zenobia who challenged the Emperors of Rome. Visit its highlights including Bel Temple, Bel Shamin Temple, Nebo Temple, the Street of Colonnades, the Theater, Forum, tombs, and Museum.
Day 9: Palmyra / Krak des Chevaliers / Hama / Aleppo (Drive): This morning depart for Krak des Chevaliers, the castle that played a vital role during the crusaders war. After visiting this strategically built castle, we then continue on to Hama, a historical city located on the Orontes River to visit the ancient water wheels (the norias). Then to Aleppo, the second Capital of Syria.
Day 10: Aleppo / St. Simeon / Aleppo: Today’s tour starts out with a visit to the Archaeological Museum of Aleppo. Then on to visit the most dominating site of Aleppo, the Citadel, which dates back to the Fatimid & Ayyubid eras of the 11th & 12th centuries AD. Next stop is the Grand Mosque and Al Wazir Caravanserai with all kinds of goods. We then continue to St. Simeon – a striking example of the architecture during the times of the Dead Cities that flourished for more than 400 years.
Day 11: Aleppo / Damascus: Depart (Drive) After a journey into history, transfer for your flight home. [/tab] [tab]

Prices are quoted in US Dollars per person per trip and valid till September 2013, except during Christmas, New Year and Easter holidays. Single room occupancy is applied for those coming with others and prefer single occupancy, so there will be a different rate for solo traveler.

Payment Policy
Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired Egypt tour, spaces will be secured upon receiving a deposit of 25%, and during the Christmas and New Year holidays and tour packages the required deposit is 50%. This deposit forms part of your final payment. Deposits can only be made by credit card, wire transfer, or Western Union

Jordan Entry Visa
You need to have a valid passport at least 6 months beyond your scheduled return date to enter Jordan and you can obtain a visa from the Jordanian Consulate before departure. Also, entry visas are available upon arrival at Jordanian airports for USD 30 per passport for certain nationalities. Please check with the Jordanian Consulate for details.
