Our tour to Petra from Eilat will begin early in the morning by meeting our guide and driver at the Yitzhak Rabin/Aqaba border. after will then get on to our comfort deluxe bus (with A/C). There would be an 80 Km drive via the Desert Highway to Petra followed by a 35 Km drive on the King's Highway before we reach Petra. As soon as you arrive to the entrance of Petra, you will have a short horse ride down to the Siq, where you start your guided tour by walking in the ancient city of Petra. You will be amazed by the most gorgeous facade of Petra the Treasury.
The Treasury of Petra got its famous name from the Bedouin belief that pirates hid ancient pharaoh treasures at the top of the facade.

Plan B: If you get off your bus at the The Yitzhak Rabin Terminal border bus stop, it is just before Kibbutz Eilot (before the bus finally arrives into Eilat). You can get off at a junction* from where you could walk from that main road to the border.
If you have planned to do this make sure
(a) you have told the bus driver well beforehand, and
(b) that you have your luggage easily accessible, to extract from the hold of the bus. It’s a long 2-3 km walk from the main road, to the Yitzhak Rabin border.
The border crossing is located a 5-minute, ILS30 ($8) taxi ride from Eilat’s airport. At “Yitzhak Rabin Terminal”one-page general information sheet in English that explained passport and visa requirements, along with a list of fees and Customs rules (e.g., “It is strictly forbidden to import to Jordan drinking water, food,…”). At the first stop you pay exit fee of ILS 100 along with a commission of ILS3 (total, about $27 each), cash only. Receipts will be provided at the next stop, where passports stamped. Then you walk about 100 meters across a no-man’s-land to Jordan border . There is luggage inspection where our team will meet you.
all payment will be made up on arrival at the Jordanian side except the Israeli exit tax
if you wish to pay in credit cards 5.5 % will be added as tax
daily departure of our tour from the Jordan side between 8:00-9:00 am maximum
