Palm Trees Wadi Trail Dana Biosphere Reserve Visit the “showpiece” of the RSCN (Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature) which was established in 1993 in southern Jordan and covers 320 square kilometers. It contains a remarkable diversity of landscapes, ranging from wooded highlands and rocky slopes to gravel plains and sand dunes. You have the chance to admire more than 100 archaeological sites and a wide variety of wildlife, including many rare species of plants and animals. The total number of species recorded so far consists of 697 plants, of which 3 are new to science, and 282 animals. Many of these are now very rare and some threatened with extinction: animals like the Grey Wolf, Nubian Ibex, the Lesser Kestrel, Eagle Owl and the Desert Monitor Lizard. Palm Trees Wadi Trail This Trail is ideal for adventure lovers since it takes 6-8 hours of hard hike (16 km) up the Wadi, passing by an oasis with a warm spring beginning from al- Barra to Feinan. This tour is compulsory guided, and the group number is maximum 15 persons

Prices are quoted in US dollars per person and are valid until September 2014.
Prices for Children
- Children under 2 are free of charge.
- Children aged from 2 to 5 pay 25% of the adult price.
- Children aged from 6 to 11 pay 50% of the adult price.
- Children over 12 pay the full adult price.
Payment Policy
Reservations should be made as far in advance as possible so we can make the appropriate arrangements.
The booking will be secured upon receiving a deposit of 25%, or, during the Christmas and New Year holidays, a deposit of 50%. This deposit is part of your final payment. Deposits can only be made by wire transfer or through Western Union.
Jordan Entry Visas
To enter Jordan, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your scheduled departure date. Visas can be obtained in advance from the Jordanian Consulate in your country of origin, or upon arrival at a Jordanian airport for USD 60. Please check for any special conditions attaching to your nationality beforehand.
Tipping
It is customary in Jordan to express satisfaction and gratitude for good service by giving a tip. A tip is much appreciated by guides, drivers, cleaning staff, etc., but tipping is not obligatory and the amount is up to the tipper’s discretion.
